  1. Great news, look forward to it! Will the api be optimized for net8.0?

  2. Thanks Vic,
The AutoCAD.NET API is a thin wrapper over our native C++ code, the actual grunt work happens on C++, there is no change in the way API used, or in the performance improvement due to change in NET 4.x to NET 8.0, only the underlying tech is changing.
    Cheers,
    Madhu.

  3. AutoCAD betas and the final release are aimed at supporting .NET 8.0.

  4. Will there be prereleases of RealDWG with .NET 6/8 support as well? It would really help the transition effort on the receiving end if we could get a head start.

  5. Hi Anders,
AutoCAD and ObjectARX for next release are already available in betas, you can test your RealDWG applications against the ObjectARX SDK available in our beta, let us know how it would help you releasing beta for RealDWG beyond what is available with ObjectARX SDK and AutoCAD, as of now no plans, but I would like to know.

  6. This forum is amazing and there is a lot of useful content here. Companies can use this content to further improve the quality of disposable nitrile gloves although they have not received any complaints about them yet. However, there is still room for improvement.

  7. Thanks for the helpful post! This is exactly what I need for an upcoming project. Could you please share Source code module RVTLanguages.cs ?.

  8. Exciting news for AutoCAD developers! The plan to support .NET Core technology in the next release, AutoCAD 2024 + 1, is a welcome step forward. The transition from .NET 6.0 in alphas to .NET 8.0 in betas and the final release is promising. Looking forward to the advancements in the AutoCAD API.

  9. We have beta versions of AutoCAD and ObjectARX for the upcoming release. You can test your RealDWG applications against the ObjectARX SDK that is available in our beta. Please let us know if you have any plans to release a RealDWG beta version that goes beyond what is currently available with the ObjectARX SDK and AutoCAD.

  10. An alpha version has been released on the feedback portal for users to test and provide feedback. It’s noted that AutoCAD alphas are designed to support .NET 6.0.
