Autodesk Exchange Apps – Summary information

By Stephen Preston

(I’m cross-posting this summary page to the AutoCAD, AEC and Manufacturing DevBlogs so the useful links are all in one place. We’ll be updating the Exchange Developer Center with the same information in due course, but that will take a few days. Once they’re posted, we’ll be keeping the Developer Center versions of this information up to date, so please use those in preference to the information posted here.)

Autodesk® Exchange Apps provides a centralized storefront for Autodesk customers to find apps that enhance their productivity using their Autodesk products. Apps can be anything a customer will find useful:

  • Plug-ins
  • Standalone applications
  • Training tutorials
  • E-books
  • Content
  • Etc.

If it’s something useful, then it’s a candidate for Autodesk Exchange Apps. Ask us if you’re not sure.

Anyone can submit a product to be published to Autodesk Exchange Apps. Simply go to apps.exchange.autodesk.com, select the Autodesk product your app is designed for, click on the ‘Exchange Apps Developers!’ link and follow the simple steps.

The Developer Center contains information to help you easily create or modify your apps to integrate with the simple Exchange Apps requirements and technical guidelines designed to give Exchange Apps customers a consistent user experience and to speed your product through the approval process. Please read the documentation provided here before you submit your app.

  1. Hi,
I have two basic questions regarding DWG trueview:
    – Is there a so called “portable” version of DWG trueview for Windows XP for free downloading?
    – Is there a version of DWG trueview for Apple MacBooks for free downloading?
Some help with the right link and any hints regarding the download are highly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance!
    Stefan

  2. Not sure what you mean by ‘portable’, but all the information on DWG TrueView is posted to http://www.autodesk.com/trueview. If that page doesn’t mention a version you want, then its not available.
